9-30-09: The name of the new band is EVERY
THREAT. The overall musical style could be described as a modern-day Black Sabbath heavily shaped by Rush, Iron Maiden,
King's X, and Jimi Hendrix. John is working with 2 amazing musicians, drummer Joel Herbert and guitarist Jared
Bird. They have 3 great new songs written, and are about ready to begin auditions for a vocalist/frontperson.

6-17-09: Sadly,
there has been absolutely no interest from local musicians in reforming Nailspine. John is currently working to assemble
musicians for a new project, which will incorporate aspects of thrash, groove, doom, and progressive metal. The new
project has a drummer (as well as John on bass), and they are currently auditioning guitarists. If interested in auditioning
(singers too!), please contact John at flon_klar@yahoo.com.
11-24-08: Rob Strack has also now left the band, citing personal issues. John will be looking for guitarists,
drummers, and singers in an attempt to reform the band.
11-11-08: Curtis Powell has officially
left the band, for personal reasons. We are currently auditioning drummers (as well as vocalists). Auditions
can be scheduled through our contact page.
8-28-08: Nailspine has officially parted ways
with vocalist John Ward. Holding auditions for new vocalists. Contact us if you would like to audition.
6-6-08: Played an absolute KILLER show at Kamikaze's
tonight. Thanks again to the venue and all the fans that attended!!!
5-29-08: Recording update: drum tracks
complete on 12 songs.
4-27-08: Played a killer show at The Dawg Pound,
the crowd went totally crazy!!! This is probably the last show we will play for awhile, we are going to get some long-overdue
recording done.
3-30-08: Work almost complete on our 13th song,
"My Last Rites"
3-16-08: Nailspine won the Gorilla Productions
